Long story short, these were painted for someone I met online as trade for a bunch of Chaos vehicles for my (now) wife. Took quite a bit of time but they turned out excellent.
It pains me to see them go. The pain on these was getting the dark green - light green - yellow blend. I found the best way for myself was to base it all the dark green, then dry brush a few layers of light green followed by a few layers of yellow. It became critical to ensure the paint had fully dried before adding another layer. This is for a few reasons: First, the contrast is created by not blending. Secondly, as some of you may know, working with yellow and light green is a pain. The paint just flows differently than others. See the lead walker close up and in detail: [link] |
